Rick Son Trio at Frankie’s After Dark

Pianist and composer Rick Son is bringing his frequent collaborators to the night of his originals, including some of his new releases, “Birdwatch” and “Gradient.”
Studying with New England luminaries such as Danilo Pérez and Kevin Harris, he will be performing sounds that are inspired by the Black American music tradition and its adjacents. Rick will be joined by Piyotr Kao on upright bass and Jordy McIntosh on drums.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday & Saturday night at Frankie’s Jazz Club (755 Beatty) at 11PM. Tickets are $10 and are added to your bill at the end of the night. This series is curated & presented by Infidels Jazz.
