Guitarist-composer Daniel Marmer presents a captivating showcase of originals, standards, and arrangements inspired by the jazz tradition and themes of love, freedom, and energy.
Raised in Vancouver and based in Montreal, Daniel has had the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with musicians Jodi Proznick, Kevin Dean, Camille Thurman, Darrell Green, and more.
Daniel’s quartet performs on the principles of togetherness and playful resilience, blending post-bop rhythms and harmonies with the modern guitar tradition. This band features Vancouver powerhouses Rick Son, Raphael Agustin, and Arvind Ramdas.
Frankie’s Jazz is presented by Infidels Jazz, and takes place every Friday and Saturday night from 11PM-1215AM. Admission is $10, which is added to your bill at the end of the night.
