Harrison Ivaz is a young Canadian-American guitarist and vocalist.
A Capilano University Jazz Studies Grad, Harrison has studied with Vancouver jazz icon Bill Coon and performed as guitarist in the renowned Capilano University A Band under the direction of Brad Turner. Born in Chicago and raised in Vancouver, Harrison is also an accomplished rock performer and songwriter. He has performed his original rock at festivals including Lollapalooza, Milwaukee Summerfest, Zentsura AT in Bilbao, Spain, The West Vancouver Harmony Arts Festival and more. Harrison is excited to bring his trio featuring Wes Anderson on drums and Jason De Couto on organ to Frankie’s.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday & Saturday night at Frankie’s Jazz Club (755 Beatty) at 11PM. Tickets are $10 and are added to your bill at the end of the night. This series is curated & presented by Infidels Jazz.
