Exploring experimental forms in collaborative composition and improvisation, the trio draws inspiration from both the Chicago improvised music scene and minimalist composers in a ”jazz” adjacent aesthetic. Featuring some of the most imaginative and adventurous players in the city, prepare for a night full of soulful grooves and contemplative soundscapes.
For this Frankie’s After Dark this group will be comprised of Cole Woodland on Bass, Todd Stewart on Drums, and Parker Woods on guitar.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10.
