Legendary saxophonist/reedist Vinny Golia plays his first Vancouver show in years

Reedist Vinny Golia is a legend in the world of creative music, having performed/recorded with Anthony Braxton, John Zorn, Horace Tapscott, Wadada Leo Smith, and dozens of other legendary luminaries. He’s been mentioned in dozens of Downbeat Critic Awards polls, and was named by JAZZIZ magazine as one of 100 people who have shaped Jazz in the 21st Century.

On October 23, he’ll be making a rare Vancouver appearance, performing with regular Vancouver colleages Jared Burrows on guitar & Clyde Reed on bass, and incendiary Seattle-based drummer Greg Campbell.

This performance is part of VanJazz 2026, and is presented by Infidels Jazz.
