Ron Samworth has been at the forefront of Vancouver’s creative music scene for over 30 years. For this special performance at All-City, he leads the Pat Pending Trio, a forward looking ensemble performing original compositions and the occasional deconstructed
standard. Samworth and the Pat Pending Trio celebrate freedom and innovation, and draw froma wide sonic palette and are indebted to everything in the natural world. The music is spacious and textural, swinging and thoughtful.
