Robert Connely Farr is a guitarist, songwriter & singer from from Bolton, Mississippi, home of Charley Patton, Sam Chatmon & the Mississippi Sheiks. He currently resides in Vancouver, BC. A friend & protege of Jimmy “Duck” Holmes, his music is rooted in the Bentonia Style of the Delta Blues – a style originated not far from his home in rural Mississippi.
On April 21 he’ll be playing the Painted Ship, along with Tyler McLeod on drums, performing his unique take on the country & Delta Blues which are staples of where he grew up.
This performance is part of Sea Legs, a monthly music series presented by Infidels Jazz at the Painted Ship.
