MRD3 aka Mad Riddim Dub Trio, features the engine room (Richard Brown – drums, Matt Reid – bass and Cuyler Biller – guitar) of popular Vancouver reggae group Mad Riddim.
Forming prior to the pandemic as a way to explore classic reggae albums via a heavy, minimalist and fully improvised dub aesthetic, the group continue to evolve, using their varied musical influences as the foundation for unrelenting grooves and lush soundscapes.

Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10.
