Taking liberty to express both middle eastern melody and wild improvisation on the ancient flute Ney, Syrian born Emad Armoush joins the unbound and enigmatic rhythm section of James Meger (upright bass) and Kenton Loewen (drums) in the revolutionary, singular, free jazz trio La Syrie Libre.
