Kosma Busheikin Trio at Frankie’s After Dark
October 24 @ 11:00 PM - 12:00 AM
$10

Born in the Czech Republic, Kosma moved with his parents to the small island of Denman when he was two years old. When he was 16 he decided to take guitar lessons with local singer-songwriter Kevin Mitchell. After a couple years of lessons, Kosma was accepted into VIUs Jazz Studies program. After completing his degree Kosma settled down in Nanaimo and began working regularly across the island and lower mainland. He quickly earned a reputation as a solid rhythm section player on both upright bass and guitar. Some notable people he has played with include Brad Turner, Cory Weeds, John Lee, Ryan Oliver, Steve Kaldestad, Mike Allen and Miles Black. Kosma has recently moved to Vancouver and plans to bring his love of blues and swing to the mainland music scene.
