A legend of creative music and avant-garde jazz collaborates with two of Vancouver’s most exciting musicians

Saxophonist Ken Vandermark has been a cornerstone of the American avant-garde for over 30 years, and is known for his collaborations with Joe McPhee, Barry Guy, Peter Brötzmann, MIsha Mengelberg and more.

On October 24 he’ll be returning to Vancouver to perform with Kenton Loewen and James Meger, two of Canada’s premier improvisers and creative instigators.

This performance is presented by Infidels Jazz with support from the VJO Society and is part of VanJazz2026.
