Kayla Price Quartet at the Heatley

Kayla Price is a vocalist & baritone saxophonist, known for her duo work and playing with Vancouver’s Maiden Voyage.
Her love of hard bop, swing and fusion music has greatly influenced her improvising, and she is thrilled to be playing her first Vancouver show as a bandleader.
On March 16th she’ll be performing at the Heatley, as part of Infidels Jazz’s Pass the Hat Series.

This performance is part of Pass the Hat, a monthly Jazz series at the Heatley, featuring the best young musicians in Vancouver’s Jazz scene. All attendees will be asked to donate what they can at each performance, with all funds going to the band. This series is presented by Infidels Jazz, with support from the Vancouver Jazz Orchestra Society.
