This new trio is co-led – Jillian Lebeck on keys, Afu on saxophone and Kody Buchart on bass. These dynamic musicians play swingers from the Great American Songbook, mixed with modern jazz repertoire, and a few original tunes.
Presenting high energy and exciting sonic sounds with a hint of cinematic soundscapes.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10.
