Jancis Bautista Trio plays Keith Jarrett at Frankie’s After Dark
October 30 @ 11:00 PM - 12:15 AM
$10
Jancis Bautista is a pianist and composer based in Vancouver. Known for his eclectic textures as a sideman, Jancis strives to create vulnerable and creative improvisations in his music.
For this concert, Jancis will be paying tribute to one of his early influences, The Standards Trio by Keith Jarrett. Hoping to emulate the raw, telepathic chemistry of the Jarrett-Peacock-DeJohnette trio, Jancis will be joined by David Caballero on bass and Clement Pytel on drums.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday night at Frankie’s Jazz Club, from 11PM-1215AM. It’s presented by Infidels Jazz and only costs $10 at the door!
