Based in Vancouver, the Ingrid Stitt – Jocelyn Waugh quintet is a modern hard-bop ensemble, recently formed to pursue original compositions and inventive arrangements of some of their favourite tunes.
The two leaders have played in many of Vancouver’s top jazz bands including the Vancouver Jazz Orchestra, Sister Jazz Orchestra and the
Vancouver Legacy Jazz Orchestra. They also lead their own jazz groups and have been featured in the Vancouver Jazz Festival.
This new quintet will showcase their instrumental prowess and melodic creativity.
