Hollywood Theatre is rounding out its Studio Ghibli summer series with a rare and unforgettable live performance by the Ghibli Jazz Orchestra—an 18-piece ensemble led by Isabel Leong and composed of Vancouver-based musicians united by their love of Studio Ghibli, anime, and video game soundtracks.

This one-night-only event brings to life the iconic scores of Joe Hisaishi, reimagined through the soulful lens of jazz. From Spirited Away to My Neighbor Totoro, expect rich arrangements—many crafted in-house by the musicians themselves—that pay tribute to the magic, emotion, and wonder of Ghibli’s cinematic universe.
