Erika Chow Quartet plays Wayne Shorter at Frankie's After Dark
Erika Chow, a tenor saxophonist based in Vancouver, draws inspiration from many greats, but holds a deep admiration for the legendary Wayne Shorter as one of her all-time favourites. Joined by Ben Sigerson on piano, Bella Fedrigo on bass, and Jordy Mcintosh, the quartet will perform a set dedicated to Shorter’s music— focusing on his work with Blue Note Records during the mid-1960s.
Frankie’s After Dark is a late night series at Vancouver’s Premier Jazz Club taking place every Friday & Saturday night, and presented and curated by Infidels Jazz. All shows go from 11PM-1215AM and are $10.
