Incredible Jazz musicians playing the music of Blue Giant

Yuzuru Tachikawa‘s Blue Giant is one of the greatest films about Jazz ever made, and one of the most popular animes to come out of Japan in recent years. On May 22, saxophonist Erika Chow will be performing selections from the movie’s soundtrack well as a few originals and Jazz standards.

Her band represents the very best of the contemporary Vancouver Jazz scene:
