Eli Davidovici has been working as a bassist and composer in Vancouver and Montreal for over a decade, collaborating with established and emerging musicians in the Jazz/Creative/Folk/Indie scenes and contributing his own unique voice to the cities’ diverse musical landscapes. While making a name for himself as a sideman, playing bass on records by Ben Frost, Jean-Michel Leblanc, Kim Albert and others, his work as a composer can be heard in Vancouver band Moondle, Montreal band Bellbird, and on his debut album, “Shapes”, which was released in March of 2023. He now resides in Montreal, where he is obtaining his Master’s degree in Jazz Performance from Mcgill University.

Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10.
