Formed in 2021, Dream Keepers is a multicultural, multilingual group that seamlessly combines musical languages, world rhythms, and a range of improvisation traditions.
The music blends the unique sounds of its band members – Ayelet Rose Gottlieb on vocals, Stéphane Diamantakiou on contrabass, Hamin Honari on Persian Hand Percussion, and Bernard Falaise on guitar and electronics.
They recently released their first album, DUST. DUST is the outcome of Dream Keeper’s surprising collaboration resulting in new compositions set to poetry in seven languages – English, French, Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino, Arabic, and Farsi – which includes the ancestral languages of Ayelet and Hamin. The music is set to words by Victor Hugo, Dorian Laux, Almog Behar, Pablo Neruda and more, exploring themes from ancestry to love, exile to home, justice to prayer, all the while opening a space and inviting the listener to dream.
