David Caballero is a young bassist making a name for himself in the Vancouver jazz scene. Although he is known for his hard-hitting bass playing, audiences don’t often get the chance to hear his original music and arrangements where the bass shines as a solo instrument. Joining him on this special evening is his long time rhythm section mate Arvind Ramdas on drums, and their musical mentor and Canadian jazz legend Brad Turner at the piano. This trio has been performing under collective leadership of the 3 members since 2022. This rare bassist-led night of music will not disappoint!
