Connor Lum’s Trivium Project leaves the rules — and the chords — behind, presenting an evening of music written specifically for this performance.
You’ll hear a mix of original compositions alongside unexpected takes on familiar melodies. The Trivium Project draws inspiration from experimental ideas, unusual forms, and comedic motifs that will be sure to be unpredictable in a chordless trio format. The debut of the project will feature Connor Lum on saxophones, Jake McIntyre-Paul on bass, and Jordy McIntosh on drums.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday & Saturday night at Frankie’s Jazz Club (755 Beatty) at 11PM. Tickets are $10 and are added to your bill at the end of the night. This series is curated & presented by Infidels Jazz.
