Benjamin Sigerson is a composer and pianist, having received his degree in Composition at McGill University, having studied under Brian Cherney and Christine Jensen. Sigerson has won several awards for both composition and performance, and recently released a five-keyboard record “The Forest for the Trees” with Cellar Live. Joining him is John Mossie, a bassist from Victoria who studied at McGill and with bassists Adrian Vedady and John Lee. On drums is Craig Scott, a veteran drummer who’s been on the Vancouver scene since the 70s and has played and recorded with some of the greatest musicians across North America.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10.
