Adam Robert Thomas is a JUNO Nominated performer from Vancouver, Canada. He was introduced in the US as the feature vocalist and bassist of the critically acclaimed Dan Brubeck Quartet. His 2018 self-titled debut album spent 12 weeks in the top 50 of R&B and Soul radio charts for Roots Music Report, as well has holding at #9 for two months on
Jambands.com radio charts.
Adam’s music is soulful, melodic, funky, and feel-good; clearly reminiscent of Ray Charles, Donny Hathaway, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder. He performs a broad range of well-loved songs from classic jazz to current contemporary.
He’ll be playing guitar and singing, joined by André Lachance on upright bass and Julian MacDonough on drums.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10.
