“Thunderous back alley blues” Guitar Player “menacing, guttural” Smithsonian Robert Connely Farr is from Bolton, Mississippi, home of Charley Patton, Sam Chatmon & the Mississippi Sheiks. He currently resides in Vancouver, BC. A friend & protege of Jimmy “Duck” Holmes, his music is rooted in the Bentonia Style of the Delta Blues – a style originated not far from his home in rural Mississippi.
