Brad Pearson has performing professionally on the Vancouver music scene since 2016 when he graduated with a bachelors of applied music from Vancouver Community College;
studying classical double bass with Laurence Mollerup, and electric bass with Cameron Hood. He has performed with local legends Hugh Fraser, Campbell Ryga, Brad Turner, and Buff Allen. This bassist is best known for his associations with saxophone great John Gross, as well as the rapidly ascending piano virtuoso Jimi James Fraser. He also designs and builds his own electric basses which he performs on exclusively when not playing acoustic bass.
For this Frankies After Dark performance, Brad will be joined by guitarist Joel Faulkner, and drummer Jamison Ko. The set will feature original music as well as jazz standards.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday & Saturday night at Frankie’s Jazz Club (755 Beatty) at 11PM. Tickets are $10 and are added to your bill at the end of the night. This series is curated & presented by Infidels Jazz.
