This trio will celebrate the legendary Sonny Rollins by reimagining one of the most iconic recordings in jazz history — A Night at the Village Vanguard. Join us for an evening that honors the album and the legacy of one of jazz’s greatest improvisers. The tribute will feature David Caballero on bass and Arvind Ramdas on drums.
This performance is part of Vancouver Celebrates Sonny Rollins, a week-long multi venue tribute to the life and music of the legendary Sonny Rollins.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday & Saturday night at Frankie’s Jazz Club (755 Beatty) at 11PM. Tickets are $10 and are added to your bill at the end of the night. This series is curated & presented by Infidels Jazz.
