Ingrid Li Quartet

Ingrid Li is an alto saxophonist bringing an eclectic voice to the Vancouver and Montreal jazz scene. Just completing her first year at McGill’s Schulich School of Music, she has enjoyed working as a bandleader and side woman. Though versatile, her love for music is rooted in straight-ahead bop. She had the honour of receiving the 2023 Fraser Macpherson Jazz Fund Scholarship and owes it to her wonderful mentors Camille Thurman, James Danderfer, and Daniel Hersog.
Ingrid is excited to bring her band to Frankie’s After Dark: Emmet Murray on Bass, EJ Bown on piano, and Julian Ferrer on drums.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10.
