In 2016 the Matt Choboter trio teamed up with Brad Turner and performed original music for the Vancouver International Jazz Festival (Vogue Theatre) as the opening act for Joe Lovano. 8 years later, we come together once again. This time, with an open and
playful approach to selected repertoire of the American Jazz songbook. For this special After Dark performance this band will feature: Brad Turner (Trumpet), Matt Choboter (piano), Wynston Minckler (double bass), and Andrew Thomson (drum set)

Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10
