Tamas Balai Plays Sonny Rollins

Tamas Balai, David Caballero, and Wesley Anderson are all currently attending Capilano University. This group was formed because of the groups collective love for the music of Sonny Rollins and the way that he approaches improvising. This chord-less trio will be preforming original compositions by the great Sonny Rollins, and standards in the style of Sonny Rollins.
For this Frankie’s After Dark performance the trio features Tamas Balai on Alto Sax, David Caballero on Bass, and Wesley Anderson on Drums.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10.
