Mandelbrat is an exploratory improvised instrumental trio consisting of Mike WT Allen on sax, Nikko Whitworth on bass, and Morgan Sidky on drums. The instrumentation is augmented by a plethora of effects pedals and electronics that are used to create otherworldly soundscapes and textures.
The music can travel between ambient explorations, heavy grooves, soaring melodies, and outright noise at any given time.
