Junk Story channels the gritty elegance of 70s and 80s jazz into their own distinctive sound. With a nod to the lost generation of jazz musicians, they capture the spirit of an era when the music was unapologetically raw.
With Chad Makela (saxophone), Brad Turner (electric piano), James Meger (double bass) and Bernie Arai (drums and cymbals).
Jazz Arts at Chill X Studios is a new weekly Wednesday night Jazz series presented by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz and hosted by Chill X, an exciting new comedy club/events space in the heart of Mt. Pleasant, at 2270 Manitoba Street.
