Longtime collaborators Chris and Bernie create ephemeral acoustic improvisations based on the Japanese aesthetic principle of shibui.
Performance highlights include the Vancouver International Jazz Festival and Powell Street Festival. Their debut self-titled recording garnered a nomination for the Western Canadian Music Award for Jazz Artist of the Year in 2016.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10.
