Suin Park is a talented piano player and composer from South Korea. She loves music and has a master’s degree in jazz performance in Korea. She decided to move to Vancouver, Canada, all by herself, looking for new adventures, even though she didn’t know anyone there and wasn’t good at English. Suin believes that music helps people understand each other better. She thinks music is like a language everyone can speak, no matter where they’re from. Playing the piano and making music , Suin hopes to connect with people and make them feel something special through her music.
For this special After Dark Performance Suin’s band will featuring Feven Kidane on Trumpet, Wynston Minckler on Bass, and Kevin Romain on Drums.
Frankie’s After Dark takes place every Friday and Saturday at Frankie’s Jazz Club in downtown Vancouver and is curated by Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. Shows start at 11:00PM and tickets are $10.
