DESCRIPTION:Infidels Jazz is proud to announce our fourth annual Jam Session to benefit the Greater Vancouver Food Bank\, with all proceeds going to them as part of JAZZ FEEDS VANCOUVER.\nThis will be a rare opportunity for all of Vancouver’s jazz instrumentalists to come together for three worthy causes: To play\, to celebrate the holiday season\, and to raise money for those less fortunate.\nDonations will be collected through the night (cash\, debit\, and credit cards accepted)\, and all given to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank the next day.\nThis night will feature two different jam sessions happening on the same night. The first one is a straight ahead jam hosted by the Matt Franceschini Quartet featuring Julian Borkowski\, Cole Woodland & Todd Stewart\, and the second is a free improv jam hosted by Improv Karoake: Bahar Khazei\, Nick Marriott & Karl DeJong.\nDonations will be collected through the night (cash\, debit\, and credit cards accepted)\, and all given to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank the next day. This event is co-sponsored by our friends at the Vancouver Jazz Orchestra Society.\nThis event is presented by Infidels Jazz.

DESCRIPTION:The Happiest Big Band on Earth had their first show on April 27\, 2018\, and was born through Matt Grinke’s love of jazz and Disney. Since then\, the Happiest band has continued to morph and shift into many different sounds and sizes\, anywhere from a trio to the full 17-piece big band\, including this quintet! \nGet Tickets\nMatt has also shifted from just a Disney fan to pianist and music director for Disney Cruise Line\, and is more than happy to arrange and perform Disney tunes even when he’s not on contract. The band’s hour-long set will be followed by a brief intermission\, and then a chance to enjoy the grooviest of the studio’s 20th century animated classics\, the original 1967 version of The Jungle Book\, featuring songs like “I Wanna Be Like You”\, “The Bare Necessities”\, and “Trust In Me”. \n
