SUMMARY:Jazz Jam at Hero's Welcome with Chris Fraser
DESCRIPTION:Infidels Jazz is proud to resume our monthly FREE Jazz jam session which will take place at Hero’s Welcome at 3917 Main Street\, one Sunday a month at 2PM. In February it will be on February 15 and hosted by guitarist Chris Fraser.\nThese will be open Jazz jam sessions\, which means that everybody from professionals to high school students will be welcome. If you’re under the age of 19\, just make sure you have a guardian of legal age with you. You can use the instruments of the house band\, but please be respectful of them.\nSundays at Hero’s Welcome (3917 Main Street) is a monthly jazz series presented by Infidels Jazz. The concept is to provide an affordable way for jazz lovers of all ages to gather and celebrate this music we love. This jam session will be free to attend.

DESCRIPTION:Infidels Jazz presents KneeJerk at Jazz at the Bolt (Feb. 13-15\, 2026). \nFeaturing Brian Horswill on piano\, Karlis Silins on bass\, Kenton Loewen on drums\, and new member Cole Schmidt on guitar\, KneeJerk is a free jazz project that plays with minimalism and evokes chaos. From nearly-tangible forms to a wild\, almost playful din\, this quartet creates a strange and beautiful jangle. DESCRIPTION:Infidels Jazz presents the Suin Park Quartet at Jazz at the Bolt (Feb. 13-15\, 2026). \nComposer and pianist Suin Park’s harmonically complex and emotionally expressive music combines traditional jazz\, classical influences\, and contemporary improvisation sensibilities. Park finished her graduate studies in jazz piano in Korea before moving to Canada to explore new musical challenges. Since then\, she has been active in a variety of projects spanning both countries.
