DESCRIPTION:Duncan Semefah Yao Hunter Neale is a Montreal-based artist originally from Ottawa\, Ontario\, whose deep connection to music has been shaped since birth. His interest in music emerged from his mother’s involvement with the local arts scene as a music teacher\, who frequently involved him in performances\, workshops\, and various events. This early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for music that Duncan continues to explore through the study of improvised music and composition. He is an active performer with the Montreal-based band MAFUBA\, having shared the stage with notable artists such as Takuya Kuroda and Shubh Saran.
